Overview

There will be lots of events taking place in Brooks in celebration of Alberta Culture Days!

Friday, September 27:

  • 1-3pm @ JBS Canada Centre – Sage Brush Arts Art Demo
  • 3-5pm @ Arts, Culture & Heritage Centre – ACH Board’s Participatory Art Manifold representing the City’s diversity
  • 6-8pm @ CPR Engineers House – Monologue & Dramatic Presentation of local legend John Ware
  • 6:30-8pm @ Brooks Library – Sage Brush Arts Opening Reception

Saturday, September 28:

  • 10am-4pm @ JBS Canada Centre – BAPS presents Countdown to Christmas Trade Show
  • 10am-4pm @ Handicraft Guild – Brooks & District Handicraft Guild Open House
  • 12-4pm @ JBS Canada Centre – The City of Brooks’ annual Taste of Nations Event
  • 1-3pm @ JBS Canada Centre – Sage Brush Arts Art Demo
  • 1:30-3:30pm @ JBS Canada Centre – Brooks Public Library’s STEAM Storytime with Ms. Frizzle
  • 3-5pm @ Arts, Culture & Heritage Centre – ACH Board’s Participatory Art Manifold representing the City’s diversity
  • 7:30-9pm @ Brooks Library – Laughs at the Library. This is a ticketed event, cost is $10/ticket.

Sunday, September 29:

  • 1-3pm @ JBS Canada Centre – Sage Brush Arts Clay Demo
  • 1-4pm @ Handicraft Guild – Brooks & District Handicraft Guild Open House
