    Located in downtown Brooks, Good Bites Eatery is located just eight minutes from the Brooks and District Museum. Family owned and operated, delicious meals are prepared in house with lunch specials running Monday-Friday.

  • 2:00 p.m.

    Brooks Aqueduct

    Dive into history at the Brooks Aqueduct. Built over 90 years ago by the Canadian Pacific Railway’s irrigation division, the Brooks Aqueduct was once used to transport water to the thirsty croplands of southern Alberta. Today, it is a memory of what was once an engineering advancement of its time. Guided tours are offered Thursday-Monday.

    EID Historical Park

    Jump back in time to the days of the pioneers, with this historic preserve. Situated on 17 acres of history, this Historic Park is home to the Scandia Pool Elevator, the first elevator in Alberta history to be declared a historic resource.

    Dinner at the Mango Tree

    Head back into the town of Brooks for authentic Indian cuisine at The Mango Tree. Choose from a variety of traditional dishes bursting with flavour, while soaking up the ambiance of traditional Indian culture.

    Bassano Dam

    Take the 40-minute drive along the Trans-Canada Highway to the Bassano Dam. Construction of the Dam began in 1910, with the opening date taking place on April 24, 1914. The dam serves a population base of 18, 000 people, all while making a beautiful historical attraction.
