Kinbrook Island Provincial Park

Roll your mouse over the thumbnails to browse images

This park includes islands in Lake Newell that are nesting sites for double crested cormorants and white pelicans. Wetlands near the campground provide excellent bird watching and an interpretive marsh trail introduces visitors to the area's abundant bird species.

This lakeshore park is a welcome relief on hot prairie days; the park's trees and bushes create shady and private campsites. Kinbrook is conveniently located for day trips to Dinosaur Provincial Park, only a 45-minute drive to the northeast.
