Taste of Nations
The Taste of Nations is a one-day festival honouring Alberta’s cultural heritage and cultural diversity. It is held annually over the Alberta Culture Days weekend in the JBS Canada Centre in Brooks.
This event is truly where east meets west! There will be about 20 vendors from all around the world including India, Canada, France, Ukraine, Philippines, Somalia, Mexico, China, Colombia, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Congo, El Savador and Jamaica.
Thousands of people across Southern Alberta can sample food from a number of booths while sharing in the entertainment, artwork and crafts, clothing and much more. Visitors will learn about various cultures from displays that will include photos, paraphernalia and stories. There will also be live performances on the stage throughout the day.
