Earl Taylor Day
Every year on the 3rd Sunday in August, we celebrate Earl Taylor Day. Spend the day living in the past! Take a horse and wagon ride, buy some candy at the Grocery Store, watch the Blacksmith in action at the Blacksmith Shop, enjoy some old time games, take a guided tour, enjoy some live music, check out our irrigation, farming and household displays and finish off the day with a hot beef and corn on the cob supper!
Learn more about Earl Taylor, his vision for the future, and how he helped shape the Region of Newell into what it is today!
