Overview

Saturday, September 29 stop by the Bassano Community Hall for the first ever one-day music festival and Bassano and area art exhibition.

This is a family friendly event and admission is FREE.

Schedule (times are approximate):

  • 12:30pm – Doors open. Food and refreshments will be for sale.
  • 1:00pm – Introduction of VIP’s and Welcome
  • 1:15pm – Shortgrass Boys (folk, country, bluegrass)
  • 2:20pm – Fern County (rural roots country)
  • 3:25pm – Retros (rock n’ roll, pop, country)
  • 4:50pm – Broken Smoke (blues, classic rock, RnB)
  • 6:00pm – Armond Duck Chief (country)
  • 7:10pm – Chete DeFreese Band (rockabilly, blues, country)
  • 8:15pm – Closing Songs – Jam

2019 high school grads will be selling beef on a bun, smokies, hot dogs, taco in a bag, pop and treats. The Bassano Arts Council will be selling adult refreshments.

September 28 – 29 will the the Stitched from the Heart: Quilt and Fibre Arts Show. Running from 1:00pm – 8:00pm on Friday, September 28 and 10:00am – 3:00pm on Saturday, September 29 at the Knox Presbyterian Church and CE Building. Quilters from Bassano will display quilts, table runners, wall hangings and more. Over 3o artists will be on display!

September 28 – 29 there will also be a Bassano and area art exhibition at the Bassano Community Hall. From 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Friday, September 28 and from 1:00pm – 8:00pm on Saturday, September 29. On display will be paintings, sketches, pottery, sculptures, ceramic art, jewellery, photography, stained glass, leatherwork and metal work. FREE admission.

Music while you dine will take place at the Roadside Grill in Bassano on Saturday, September 29 from 9:00am – 12:00pm. Enjoy the talents of Bassano and area Musicians while you dine. Breakfast and lunch specials available!
